Locked out of Llanelli bail hostel debate
Locked out of Llanelli bail hostel debate | This is South Wales
Residents staged a protest outside Llanelli town hall as the fight to close a controversial bail hostel continues.
A large group gathered in the town centre holding placards and posters to showing their strength of feeling against the hostel that opened in Swansea Road early last year. The demonstration — due to be held before a closed meeting with hostel bosses Stonham BASS, the Wales Offender Management Service, Carmarthenshire Council, MP Nia Griffith and selected residents — was prompted when just 12 members of the public were granted permission to attend the meeting.
