The University of Wales Trinity St David will be playing a prominent part in the Carmarthenshire Eisteddfod staged at Festival Fields in Llanelli. The university team will be manning a stall on The Maes in Llanelli. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the University’s plans for the future and to discover the wealth of courses and provision on offer. Carmarthenshire County Council is hosting a feast of Eisteddfod entertainment on its stage at Pentre Cyngor Sir Gâr to promote the county’s talent. There is a full programme of entertainment from 10am to 6pm every day including Carmarthenshire Fashion with Helen Humphries, cookery with Gareth Richards, musical entertainment, theatre, Discovering Llanelli Town centre with cookery by Anna Brown of Llanelly House, entertainment from Eli Eco, Dylan the Dragon, a Gari Gosafe and the Gregory Brothers, rugby workshops, Discovering Burry Port with Burry Port Brass Band, Love Food, Hate Waste cookery demonstrations with Lisa Fearn, promoting school dinners, and Home Maintenance Challenge with the Property and Housing Services and Tudur Phillips of S4C.
