Get set for British Blokart Championships at Cefn Sidan
The British Blokart Championships (hosted by the BLSA) are set to return to Cefn Sidan beach from the 28th-30th September. A Blokart is a type of mini-landyacht which is gaining tremendous popularity due to its relatively low cost and high degree of accessibility for all ages and abilities. They are also easy to carry and set up. They are easy to learn to sail and fun for the family, but are far faster than any of the sailing boats at the Olympic Games! In fact, the European speed record was set at Cefn Sidan; a stunning 59.6mph. The British Open is set to be the largest mini-landyacht sailing event in the UK this year with more than 50 craft battling it out.
