Message of thanks to Hywel Dda University Health Board staff
Hywel Dda University Health Board has thanked staff following the introduction of new Midiwfe Led Units at Glangwili and Withybush Hospitals and the move of special care baby and obstetric services from Withybush Hospital to Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen. From Monday 4 August, special care baby services are provided from a modern, purpose built unit at Glangwili Hospital. Also, women from Pembrokeshire requiring additional care during pregnancy, labour or birth will be advised to give birth in the Consultant Led Unit at Glangwili Hospital. Bernardine Rees, Chair of Hywel Dda University Health Board, said: “I am aware of the personal contribution each member of midwifery, nursing and medical staff have made to the women and children of Pembrokeshire over the years.
