Volunteer drivers wanted at Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth
Bronglais General Hospital is looking for enthusiastic and considerate volunteers to help with the transport of patients, staff and items. Whether you can spare a few hours once a week or a couple of days each month, there will be an opportunity for you. Each volunteer will need to have their own car to respond to ad hoc transport requests, with driving costs reimbursed at the University Health Board’s volunteer mileage rate. A good knowledge of the local area or a satellite navigation system is required as you will sometimes need to collect people from their own homes, or take them back from hospital.
