Free breakfast seminar to spotlight energy savings
The official launch of a new free service for rural businesses will be held next month at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. RDP Sir Gâr’s Adfer, run by Menter Cwm Gwendraeth, will be hosting a free business breakfast seminar in partnership with the Carbon Trust to provide information on how local businesses can pay less for energy bills, protect against future energy price rises and reduce their environmental impact. Adfer provides free guidance to help companies in Carmarthenshire to combat energy price rises and become more energy efficient. Neil Lewis of Adfer says: "The newly available technology allows significant savings with little or no financial outlay. For example, LED lighting can be secured at no upfront cost and with seven (7!) year guarantees. Therefore no initial outlay and guaranteed overhead reduction.
