A request has been received for the temporary road closure of the B4301 at Bronwydd from its junction with the U2096, for a distance of 570 metres in a northerly direction from today, Tuesday, March 29 to Friday, April 8. The alternative route for the First Cymru 215 journey north bound will be via the B4301, A484, A4243, A485 and B4301. Vice versa for the return journey. Morris Travel will use the unclassified road running parallel with the B4301 and exiting at Bronwydd Hall.

Heol Nant, Swiss Valley, has to be closed temporarily from its junction with Heol Beili Glas for a total distance of 75 metres in an easterly direction for the Christmas lights switch-on in Swiss Valley, Llanelli. The closure is necessary to ensure public safety while the switch on takes place between 6.15pm to and 7.30pm on Thursday 26th November, 2015. The alternative route for west bound traffic will be to travel in a south-easterly direction along Heol Nant to its junction with Lon Yr Eglwys. At the junction, turn right and continue in a south-westerly direction along Lon Yr Eglwys to its junction with Tegfynydd. There, drivers should turn right and continue in a north-westerly direction along Tegfynydd to its junction with Llandyry. At the junction, turn right and continue in a north-easterly direction along Llandyry and Heol Beili Glas to return to a point west of the closure. Vice versa for east bound traffic.

Pembrey's Penybedd Level Crossing will be closed from a point 70 metres west of its junction with the A484 for a total distance of 36 metres in a westerly direction on Sunday, October 25. The closure, just off Kidwelly Flats, is necessary for Centurion Traffic Management to carry out engineering works to the level crossing from 3am to 9.30am on the Sunday morning. Work is being carried out in the early hours to minimise disruption. The alternative route for west bound traffic will be to travel in an easterly direction along the U2282 to its junction with the A484. At the junction, turn left and travel in a northerly direction along the A484 to its junction with the U2280. There, turn left and continue in a westerly direction along the U2280 to its junction with Penybedd Road. At the junction, turn left and continue in a southerly direction along Penybedd Road to its junction with the U2282. Switching lights on for Santa means Dafen road in Llanelli will be closed temporarily next month. Part of Maescanner Road, Dafen from its junction with Havard Road for a total distance of 225 metres in an easterly direction will be closed between 5.45pm and 6.15pm on Friday, November 27. This is to ensure public safety during the festive lights switch on. The alternative route for west bound traffic will be to travel in an easterly direction along Maescanner Road to its junction with the B4303.  There the traffic will have to turn right and continue in a south-easterly direction along the B4303 to its junction with the roundabout. At this roundabout, take the third exit and continue in a south-westerly direction along the A4138 to its junction with Glyncoed Terrace. At the junction, turn right and continue in a north-westerly direction along Glyncoed Terrace to its junction with Havard Road. Traffic then has to turn right and continue in a north-easterly direction to return to...

There will be a temporary closure of part of the C1167 road from its junction with B4343 for a total distance of half a mile in a south-easterly direction near Cellan, Lampeter. The closure is necessary to ensure public safety whilst H T Installations lay a new duct in the carriageway from Monday, October 5. The road will be closed for five days. The alternative route for north-westbound traffic will be to travel in a north-easterly direction along the C1167 to its junction with the B4343. Turn left there and continue in a south-westerly direction along the B4343 to return to a point north-west of the closure. Vice versa for south-east bound traffic.
