Prestigious award for Carmarthen Market
Carmarthen Market has won the prestigious CLAW (Consortium of Local Authorities in Wales) Building of the Year Award 2011. The Market, designed by Rio Architects, is uniquely designed which reinforces the importance of the historic clock tower whilst providing the focus for the £66 million St. Catherine’s walk development and the town centre; it attracts interest and admiration from local community and visiting tourists alike.
