An eco friendly roadshow is visiting Carmarthen town centre tomorrow, Friday. Carmarthenshire County Council has teamed up with Europe Direct – West Wales European Centre - to celebrate and raise awareness of the wide range of green initiatives in the county working to reduce our carbon footprint and encourage a more sustainable way of living. The Sustainable Living Roadshow is part of a two-day county tour and is an opportunity to spotlight key issues such as pollution, waste, endangered species, natural resources scarcity and climate change. The show will take place at Carmarthen Town Centre (market area) between 11am and 2pm. As part of the event, council recycling officers will be giving advice and information on recycling as well as helping residents to reduce their waste, particularly food waste.
