Disruption warning on Carmarthenshire services
Carmarthenshire residents are being warned to expect disruption to a range of public sector services as a result of strike action on Wednesday, November 30. Whilst critical council services will be maintained, including domiciliary and residential care, it is anticipated that a number of other services may be affected. Carmarthenshire County Council has been notified that many schools will be closed, as will all council offices, community centres, and other council buildings. The following libraries will be open as normal: Llandovery, Llandeilo, Brynaman, Pontyberem, Trimsaran, Llangennech, Newcastle Emlyn, Ysgol y Bedol library, Kidwelly and Cross Hands. Leisure venues will also face disruption, with the exception of Burry Port Harbour and the Millennium Coastal Park.
