Special storytime at Llwynhendy

A group of pre-school children had a special storytime for World Books Day at Llwynhendy Family Centre. Staff at the centre in Ynys Las invited Catrin Simon, Children's Librarian at Llanelli, to help them celebrate the occasion by sharing stories with the toddlers and their carers. Catrin said: “The children especially enjoyed the well-known story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and were each given a World Book Day voucher so that they could add a new book to their very own libraries at home.” For more information about children's library services, ring Llanelli Library on 01554 773538.
