Pembrokeshire’s midwives shortlisted for national midwifery award
Withybush Hospital’s Midwife Led Unit team have been shortlisted for a EuroKing Better Births Award at the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) Midwifery Awards 2017. The team who have delivered midwife led care at the hospital since 2014, have been recognised for their work to ensure the service they provide for mums-to-be meets one or more of the aims of the Royal College’s Better Births Initiative. Julie Wall, Senior Midwife and Service Delivery Manager, said: “I am so proud of the team and really pleased that the Withybush MLU team have been shortlisted for a national RCM Award. “Next we look forward to a presentation and interview about our work to meet the aims of the Better Births Initiative before the winner is announced in March.
