Hand painted mural at Severn Farm Nature reserve damaged

Criminal damage has been caused to a mural at Severn Farm Nature Reserve, Severn Farm Industrial Estate, Welshpool, over the weekend of 29th – 31st August 2014. The mural is hand painted and the attached photos show close ups of some of the damage caused. Anybody who has information about how the damage was caused or recognises the markings is asked to contact PC Jim Baines at Welshpool Police Station on 101.

Appeal for witnesses following serious RTC on A483 | Dyfed Powys Police | Heddlu Dyfed Powys Police in Welshpool are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a serious road traffic collision which happened on the A483 between Arddleen and Pool Quay, Welshpool at around 4.25pm on Tuesday 20th March 2012. The collision involved two cars and a lorry and led to the road being closed until midnight. One man, believed to be in his 30s, was initially taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by air ambulance and later transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. His condition is said to be stable.

, Man pleads guilty to possessing imitation firearm | Dyfed Powys Police | Heddlu Dyfed Powys Jaraslow Kowalski appeared before Welshpool Magistrates Court on Tuesday 7th February where he pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of an imitation firearm in a public place contrary to section 19 and schedule 6 to the Firearms Act 1968. The incident occurred in Welshpool town centre area on the afternoon of Monday 6th February, when Kowalski was seen in possession of the weapon (image attached) by a police officer on patrol in an unmarked vehicle.

Welshpool air accident victims identified

Two killed in aircraft crash in Welshpool
