A panel of speakers which included Llanelli’s Labour AM, Keith Davies, was asked if the Badger Protection Act was being used more as a “Politician Protection Act”. “The question certainly created a heated debate with Mr Davies given a rough time,” said county executive officer, Meinir Bartlett.

Rosemary Butler spoke after the conduct of AMs was put under the spotlight following a report into the behaviour of Llanelli's Labour AM Keith Davies after a night out. In denying there was a drinking culture in Cardiff Bay, she said what people did after work was a matter for them.
