The money raised will help the charity, for which The Princess Royal is president, to support unpaid carers across the UK. Secret Millionaire Kevin Green turned into the secret chauffeur to help make a wedding day dream come true. Mr Green, 50, has been working with the latest group of Nuffield scholars at their UK conference at The Vale Resort near Cardiff. “There were many factors that put me on the road to being a millionaire,” said Mr Green. “But the Nuffield Trust played the key role in helping me work out what I wanted to do in life.” Mr Green won a Nuffield Scholarship in 1999. The UK’s biggest private sector landlord, Burry Port-based Kevin Green, has welcomed the Welsh Government’s proposed new legislation covering housing in Wales. The Welsh Government has just published its first Housing Bill since it gained full law-making powers in 2011. At the heart of the Bill is the twin aim of tackling the alleged “questionable practices” of some landlords and the blight of empty homes. Mr Green, 50, said the broad thrust of the Bill would be welcomed by the vast majority of landlords who operated with a social conscience. “It’s the old adage which says that if you are doing your job properly in the first place, you have nothing to fear,” he said. Kevin Green, star of Channel 4 show Secret Millionaire, was on hand today to officially open a new training centre in Cardiff. The self-made multi-millionaire and social entrepreneur cut the ribbon on Ajuda Ltd’s new Training Academy at Mount Stuart Square in Cardiff Bay. Set up four years ago by managing director Dawn Evans, Ajuda provides a range of courses in first aid training, manual handling, asbestos awareness, fire safety, food hygiene and lifeguard training to businesses and individuals. The company now employs four staff and more than 30 associate trainers, and has recently seen the 20,000th delegate complete one of its courses. Burry Port social entrepreneur Kevin Green was among a team of sporting, business and showbiz personalities who lent their support to the 'Cerdded Ymlaen' (Walk On) charity trek for the Wales Air Ambulance. Green completed the first 22-mile leg of the trek from Swansea to Llanelli with the 'Cerdded' team. The first leg was sponsored by TV, film and multi-platform production company Tanabi.
