Official seal of approval for Aberystwyth Psychology Department
The Department of Psychology at Aberystwyth University has been awarded national accreditation by the British Psychological Society, the internationally recognised UK learned society responsible for ensuring standards of quality within the subject. The announcement has been made following a successful accreditation visit on Wednesday 19 June by the British Psychological Society. Aberystwyth University has a long tradition of academic excellence and continually looks to improve their offer to students as shown by the introduction of, and investment in, the Psychology Department nearly five years ago. During the last few years the department has worked to successfully build its reputation for the quality of its degree and the care of its students, and has already achieved top place in the National Student Satisfaction Survey which records how happy students are in their chosen courses at universities around the UK.
