Figures boost for Carmarthenshire
Figures released today by the Local Government Data Unit show that performance in Carmarthenshire is continuing to improve. The county had the best performance indicator results in five categories and was joint top in another 20. Top scoring were: • The percentage of reported fly tipping incidents which lead to enforcement activity - highest in Wales achieving 69.22% • The number of library materials issued, during the year, per 1,000 population - highest in Wales achieving 7606.1 • The average number of calendar days taken to deliver low cost adaptation works in private dwellings where the Disabled Facilities Grant process is not used - lowest in Wales achieving 11 days • The percentage change in the average number of hours of suitable education, training or employment children and young people receive while within the youth justice system by Children and young people of statutory school age - highest in Wales achieving 31.2 • The percentage of children services referrals received tha...
