Llanelly House has gone back into its own past to attract visitors from the Eisteddfod - by resurrecting the 7th Baronet Sir Thomas Stepney! Pentre Cyngor Sir Gâr had a surprise visit on Friday from Sir Thomas aka the Rev Eldon Phillips to chat about his life history and recommend a visit to Llanelly House.

Carmarthenshire County Council is hosting a feast of Eisteddfod entertainment on its stage at Pentre Cyngor Sir Gâr to promote the county’s talent. There is a full programme of entertainment from 10am to 6pm every day including Carmarthenshire Fashion with Helen Humphries, cookery with Gareth Richards, musical entertainment, theatre, Discovering Llanelli Town centre with cookery by Anna Brown of Llanelly House, entertainment from Eli Eco, Dylan the Dragon, a Gari Gosafe and the Gregory Brothers, rugby workshops, Discovering Burry Port with Burry Port Brass Band, Love Food, Hate Waste cookery demonstrations with Lisa Fearn, promoting school dinners, and Home Maintenance Challenge with the Property and Housing Services and Tudur Phillips of S4C.
