Alumni delight for Aberystwyth
Aberystwyth University is delighted to see that 10 alumni are taking their seats in The Senedd as the Welsh Assembly reconvenes for business. The election returned 10 former Aberystwyth University students - five Plaid Cymru, four Labour and one Liberal Democrat. Four of the 10 AMs were newly elected in the election on 5th May with the remaining six returning for another term in Cardiff Bay. The 10 Assembly Members join 13 Aberystwyth University alumni elected as Members of Parliament during the 2010 General Election.
