Festive event for Carmarthen Clock Tower

Families are being encouraged to get crafty this Christmas with a festive-themed event taking place near Carmarthen’s Clock Tower.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 26, from 10am-2.30pm, and will allow people to make some hand-made Christmas decorations and cards as part of the Reindeer Parade celebrations.
Carmarthenshire County Council has once again teamed up with Trysordy, the charity which helps get people involved with art and craft using leftover bits and pieces collected from local businesses.
A similar event held at the Clock Tower, next to Carmarthen’s Indoor Market, during the summer proved popular with visitors of all ages who helped to create a collage depicting the thriving market community.
Cllr Clive Scourfield, Executive Board Member for Regeneration and Leisure, said: “This will be a lovely event for all the families who will be coming in to town to welcome Santa and his reindeer.”
