Car park boost for Newcastle Emlyn church
Newcastle Emlyn’s Holy Trinity Church has been granted a 21-year lease of nearby land to be used as a parking area.
The Church is currently using the land on an informal basis in conjunction with its adjacent community church hall.
Now the use of the land has been formalised, with the Church paying a peppercorn rent for the use of the land to address parking issues.
The Church will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the area and boundary features.
The decision to grant the lease was made at a meeting of Carmarthenshire Council's Executive Board.
