It's all smiles across Carmarthenshire for dental awards
It was all smiles across Carmarthenshire as schools were presented with their Designed to Smile awards.
Designed to Smile is an NHS Dental programme funded by the Welsh Government helping children to have healthier teeth.
Helen Edwards, Designed to Smile Co ordinator and Oral Health Promoter, said: “I am pleased that these settings have embraced the whole ethos of the D2S programme and embraced oral hygiene and looking after their children’s teeth as part of their ongoing work.”
The certificates were presented at the Healthy Schools award ceremony.
Silver awards went to: Carwe mudiad meithrin
Bronze awards went to: Ysgol Teilo Sant, Cefneithin Community Primary School, Gorslas Community Primary School and Llandeilo Community Primary School.
