Llanelli boy Robert Buckland flies the Welsh flag in Swindon
Town’s two MPs clash - but only over rugby (From Swindon Advertiser)
Swindon’s two MPs are locking horns – but it won’t be over government policy.
Instead, it is this weekend’s crunch rugby match that will be the topic of debate.
South Swindon MP Robert Buckland and North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson are from either sides of the Anglo-Welsh border and today they will be going head-to-head over the game at Twickenham.
The Tory MPs have said that there has been a lot of banter flying around the office this week ahead of the match, with both men confident they will have the bragging rights in the office on Monday morning.
Robert Buckland, was born in Llanelli, Wales, which is where he watched his rugby growing up, is confident that Wales can come up trumps.
