Côr Meibion Mynydd Mawr Male Voice Choir will stage their annual dinner dance at Tumble Hall on Friday, January 23.
Entertainment will be provided by the Tom Collins band, and entry fee will include a three course carvery meal.
Members are extending a warm welcome to anyone interested in attending rehearsals at Bethesda Chapel Vestry in Bethesda Road, Tumble either with a view to joining or just listening.
Rehearsals are held every Monday and Thursday evening from 7pm until 9pm.

There are two contrasting concerts coming up in Kidwelly.
On Saturday, January 24, at the Princess Gwenllian Hall , beginning at 7.30 pm., the Cwmbach Male Voice Choir from Aberdare will be singing. This fine choir will be joined by young instrumentalists from Carmarthenshire for an evening of entertainment.
On February 21 at 7.30 in St Mary’s Church, Kidwelly, the brass section of the Royal Welsh College of Music, Cardiff, will be performing. This outstanding group of musicians will play a wide variety of music from Glen Miller to Handel and Purcell.

The Llanelli-based Hywel choristers and their founder John Hywel Williams are now recharging their musical batteries after an incredible winter concert season which saw the choir enjoy a record 23 broadcasts on TV and radio over the festive period and performances at the Royal Albert Hall, St David’s Hall Cardiff and a hugely successful Christmas Fantasia with the British Sinfonietta Orchestra.
On Saturday 14 February, the Hywel Choir and friends will present “The Love of Music” – a beautiful candlelit night of music and song at St. Mary’s Church, Kidwelly.
With the choir currently enjoying a batch of new recruits to its ranks, the choir looks forward to Saturday 11 April when the TV celebrity, presenter and singer Aled Jones and friends come to Llanelli to join forces with the Hywel Choirs for an exciting and exclusive night of music at Y Ffwrnes.
The Hywel choristers will also be joining forces again on 6 June at Y Ffwrnes with their resident orchestra the British Sinfonietta Orchestra and the massed voices of the mighty Pontarddulais Male Choir and Llanelli Choral Society for an explosive Last Night of the Proms. This year's Proms will include a special focus on the orchestral music from the exciting and emotive World of Cinema.

The Llanelli Choral Society under the direction of founder John Hywel Williams, looks forward to an exciting year of song, orchestras, commemorations and big musical works.
On Saturday 9 May, the Llanelli Choral Society will lead the town in a VE Day Commemorative Performance at St Elli Parish Church – an event which promises to be a dignified commemoration of the end of World War 2, the unconditional surrender of the armed forces of Nazi Germany.
“It is probably the last time that the generation who fought in that conflict – in foreign combat and on the Home Front – will be able to assemble in numbers, a final chance for succeeding generations to offer thanks for their sacrifice,” explains Chairman, Margaret Daniel.
The Llanelli Choral Society will also join forces with the internationally acclaimed British Sinfonietta Orchestra for three exciting performances this year – Llanelli’s landmark Last Night of the Proms in June, an exciting large-scale performance of the ever popular Handel’s Messiah in November and again in December with a fun Christmas Fantasia.
