Your chance to Meet the Health Board – Amman and Gwendraeth Valley
People in the Amman and Gwendraeth Valley are being urged to attend the latest Meet the Health Board event at Pontyberem to find out more about Your Health Your Future – Consulting Our Communities.
The drop-in event is held between 2pm and 7.30pm in Pontyberem Memorial Hall on Tuesday October 9 and is part of a wider programme of events in each locality.
They have been organised by Hywel Dda Health Board so that members of the public can find out more about their proposals to improve health services in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. The aim is to provide the highest quality healthcare in the most appropriate setting, as close to home as possible, at the time it is needed and with improved outcomes for patients.
Senior health board staff will be in attendance at the events in order to have one-to-one discussions with people. There will also be a number of stands with information on local healthcare services.
Chief Executive Trevor Purt said: “We have held public meetings in each of the three counties during the last few weeks and we are grateful for all who attended and gave their feedback. We are now facilitating Meet the Health Board drop-in events in each of our localities to provide members of the community with an opportunity to have a more in-depth discussions with us.”
