Latest 'View from Richmond Park' Carmarthen Town AFC column from the Carmarthen Journal -
Now we are well into the second phase of the Welsh Premier League campaign, it’s time to focus on some of the players who have joined Carmarthen Town AFC in recent weeks.
DANIEL SHEEHAN (Defender) 22.12.90 Sheehan is a product of Swansea City's youth set up and won a first year professional contract for the 2009-10 season but was released at the end of the season before signing for Salisbury City. Having made 12 first team starts for the ‘Whites’ he moved to Richmond in January 2011.
STEPHEN POCKETT (Midfield) 11.02.84 Signed on-loan from Neath until the end of the season. Having had three seasons with Port Talbot he was a member of Skewen's Championship winning side in 2003/04. A former Cardiff City youngster and capped at Wales Youth level he will add to Town’s midfield options.
OLIVER ARDOLINO (Forward) 19.04.92 A Youth Academy product who made his Welsh Premier debut this season. Currently studying Sports Science at Trinity College.
ALEX EVANS (Forward) 07.05.92 Another of Town's Youth Academy products who has been given first team experience this season.
STEFFAN WILLIAMS (Forward) 08.06.92 A product of the Bridge Meadow Academy who made 19 starts in his first season in the League. A member of last season's Welsh Schoolboy side he was released from his contract by the Bluebirds in January before moving to Richmond Park.

We are currently looking for new players for the under-11s this season to be ready to play in next year's under-12s Academy side.
The Football Development Centre is a professionally run centre for footballers in the Carmarthenshire area. The players will have a chance to develop their skill taken by FAW registered coaches.
The Centre targets children between 5 to 11 years old and provides them with training on a Thursday 5pm till 6pm in Johnstown at the Carmarthen Athletic indoor facility.
