Jones unveils Joshua's Secrets at festival!

One of the budding film-makers aiming to make her mark at the Myrddin Shorts film festival in Carmarthen on the May Bank Holiday weekend is Helen Marie Jones.
Jones will be screening Joshua's Secrets.
Jones was brought up in the Swansea Valleys and attended a Welsh secondary school.
This led her to perform in Eisteddfodau and in many school productions which have been recognised across the South Wales valleys.
Her love for performing expanded to a new level to making films.
This interest began by studying media studies at A level.
Currently, Jones is a third-year student at Trinity University College, Carmarthen.
She has explored the many different aspects of film and media, which has led to an interest in writing and directing short films.
Her favourite part of the filming process is to search for locations and editing.
Jones takes great pride in her three films that she has written, directed and edited as a part of her course at Trinity.
Her favourite film so far is her second year production, Bad Medicine, because it was based on a true story which expressed an effective message.
