Public Health Wales and Ceredigion County Council are investigating an outbreak of gastrointestinal illness at a school in Lampeter.
Since early March, 145 children and 12 members of staff at Ysgol Gynradd Ffynnonbedr have been unwell with vomiting and/or diarrhoea.
All 368 pupils and 56 staff at the school are from today being asked to submit samples for laboratory testing if they develop symptoms.
The school will be closed voluntarily tomorrow (Friday 23 March) as a precaution and will also remain closed on Monday 26 March due to a scheduled Inset day.
