Dyfed Powys Police is recruiting 74 new Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) this year they will play a vital role in tackling anti-social behaviour and crime in communities throughout mid and west Wales.
The new posts are being funded by the Welsh Government which has made funding an additional 500 PCSOs across Wales one of its top five priorities.
Carl Sargeant, AM, Minister for Local Government and Communities, visited Dyfed Powys Police in Aberystwyth this week to meet some of the new PCSOs who are already in post.
