Family Fun Day at Morfa Centre
Llanelli’s Morfa Children’s Centre is to host a spring family fun day to celebrate its first birthday.
The event will take place between 10am and 2pm on Monday, April 2, with free fun activities for children of all ages.
The centre is based within the new Ysgol Maes Y Morfa, developed as part of Carmarthenshire County Council’s Modernising Education Programme.
It is operated by Carmarthenshire Children’s Partnership, in partnership with Flying Start, Plant Dewi and CYCA, providing a network of services which support children and families with integrated education, family support and health services.
Janine Patrick, Sure Start Development Officer, said: “The family fun day will be an opportunity for the centre to throw open its doors to families who may not have previously used the facilities.
“The event will kick start the school holidays, and we hope to see many new and familiar faces throughout the day.”
