Ideas for all-time best Reds team

Great idea in the Llanelli Reds match programme. In a new series of match day articles, former players, staff and supporters give their personal views on what they consider to be the best all-time Reds team.
The first of the articles appeared in the Bangor City programme when Reds legend and now regular supporter Peter Johns (Bachi) picked his all-time team.
An all-time Llanelli team to win the Welsh Premier League -
1.GOALKEEPER
LYN DAVIES
The best keeper that I played with! He came from Cardiff City and was a Welsh under 23 International. Won us at least 15 points in the Championship season of 1970/1971
2. RIGHT BACK
VERDUN LEWIS.
Quick, solid, reliable. Good tackler and good going forward.
3. LEFT BACK
LEN EMMANUEL
Good left peg. Nobody got past him. A cracking player.
4.CENTRE BACK
BOYO JAMES.
Great in the air. Took no prisoners. Solid and reliable every game.
5.CENTRE BACK
RONNIE DAVIES
Played over 500 consecutive games fro the Reds. Also captained the side at times. Very dominant at the back. A hard man!
6.RIGHT SIDE MIDFIELD.
GILBERT LLOYD.
The best player I ever played with. He could do everything - shoot, head, use both feet. Record holder of Welsh Amateur Caps. Great player.
7.CENTRE MIDFIELD
PETER DAVIES
Must have been good because after the Reds, he played for Arsenal and Swansea City. He was also a good cricketer. A good passer of the ball.
8.LEFT MIDFIELD
JIM PRESDEE
Another cricketer. He played for Glamorgan. All left foot. A midfield destroyer and ball winner
9.RIGHT ATTACK
JACK O’DRISCOLL
Brilliant on the ball. He came from the Swans. He was our Stanley Matthews. A good dribbler and crosser of the ball!
10.CENTRE FORWARD
MARK DICKESON.
From the recent era. A prolific goal scorer! If it wasn’t for his injuries, he would have played in the Football League. Also played for Newport County and had caps for the Wales Semi Pro side. A local boy as well.
11.LEFT ATTACK
PAUL MORRIS.
Another Llanelli born player. He has everything! Quick, skilful, a great ball player. A very fit player. Still runs miles today! He went to Hereford in the Football League.
SUBS
12.GLEN WILLIAMS. A cultured midfield player from Gorseinon. Another good passer of the ball and could read a game. A good talker as well!
13.TONY NANCURVIS. Played in midfield and up front. A Welsh Amateur International. Very quick and went past people with ease. Also scored goals.
14.BRYNALLT DAVIES. A defender and another Welsh Amateur Cap. A good left foot and strong in the tackle.
MANAGER - HARRY CLARKE and THE LEGENDARY GWYN GRANT.
Harry played for Spurs. He was a good coach and put us on the right road.
Gwyn was Gwyn! A character and a great bloke. The most successful ever Reds manager to date. He won three Welsh League titles in the 1970s.
