Carmarthenshire Council chairman presents cheques to medical charities


The Chair of Carmarthenshire County Council has presented two cheques for £1,000 to medical charities in memory of his brother.
Chair Cllr Terry Davies has chosen the British Heart Foundation and the Teenage Cancer Trust as his charities for his year in office.
Cllr Davies and his niece Helen have donated the money in memory of his brother Canon Islwyn Davies, Rector of Ystradgynlais, who died in January.
