Parents reminded of vaccinations ahead of summer holidays

Hywel Dda Health Board | Parents reminded of vaccinations ahead of summer holidays
Parents in Wales booking their summer holidays are being reminded to make sure they also book an appointment for their children to receive their vaccinations.
Public Health Wales has issued a reminder that diseases rare in the UK do still circulate in popular holiday destinations and can be a serious threat to Welsh children.
Parents are being urged not only to ensure their children receive the vaccinations required for travel abroad, but also to arrange for them to catch up on any of the routine vaccinations given in the UK that they might have missed.
