Fishguard residents urged to be vigilant to deliberate fire-setting

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service (MWWFRS) are asking the people of Fishguard to be vigilant to anyone deliberately setting fire to grass and gorse land, as a week of dry weather is forecast for Pembrokeshire.
Following a number of grass fires in and around Fishguard last month, many of which were suspected to have been started deliberately, the Service teamed up with Dyfed Powys Police to look more closely at the issue. An individual has since been arrested on suspicion of deliberate fire-setting.
