The director of a new horror film being billed as “the Welsh Deliverance” has revealed the inspiration behind the scary lead character came from his old school supply teacher.
The Carmarthen-shot film Devil’s Bridge, which gets its world premiere at the annual Aberystwyth-based Abertoir Film Festival next Saturday, features three Essex lads who – while travelling to deepest darkest West Wales to meet a shady business associate – fall foul of an unhinged farmer, with terrifying consequences.
