Moon halo was visible in Llanelli and south west Wales last night | Llanelli Star
A 'Moon Halo was spotted over Llanelli and south west Wales last night.
Many grabbed their cameras to capture the spectacular sight at around 9pm.
The moon was surrounded by what looked like a perfect circle in a halo around it.
The effect is caused by high, thin, cirrus clouds at around 20,000 feet which contain millions of tiny ice crystals.
