Tributes have been paid to an influential Burry Port teacher who inspired generations of pupils.
Roland Evans, former head of history at Burry Port's Glan Y Mor School, died on Thursday.
Despite having retired, Mr Evans maintained his connection with his former school, and its staff have paid glowing tributes to him.
Story from Llanelli Star
