A Llanelli headteacher has spoken of his anger that his school has been repeatedly targeted by thieves and vandals.
Daniel Sheehan, head of St Michael’s School, in Bryn, spoke out after new police figures revealed that items worth more than £16,000 have been stolen from schools in Llanelli and Burry Port over the past three years.
Hundreds of items were snatched from school buildings and grounds between 2009 and 2012 — with private school St Michael’s being one of the victims.
