Nefyn School achieves National Quality Award for health

A Gwynedd primary school has achieved a prestigious national award recognising its commitment to promoting health and wellbeing.
Nefyn School is the second school in the county, and only the 18th in Wales, to win the Healthy Schools National Quality Award.
To achieve the award, the school has been actively involved in the Healthy Schools Scheme, which is run by the Welsh Government with support for schools being provided by Public Health Wales’ local Healthy Schools team.
