Welsh troops have uncovered a drugs haul with a street value of £100,000 along with a cache of Taliban weapons in Afghanistan.
Soldiers from 1st Battalion The Royal Welsh made the discovery while out on foot patrol just west of their patrol base (PB) Omar in Nad Ali, Helmand Province.
Sergeant Simon Smith, 29, of Carmarthen, who is serving with the battalion, said the discovery was the biggest so far.
