Carmarthen books mean funds for Age Concern

Young people from the Carmarthen Youth Centre have been collecting books for Age Concern to help the charity raise funds to continue its work in Carmarthenshire.
Age Concern, a charity aimed at providing help and care for older people, have been collecting books of any size, description, new or old to help continue with their work.
As well as helping a much needed local charity, the young people have developed a greater respect for older people and are eager to continue to help the charity in the future.
Roger Wilson, Carmarthenshire Council’s Youth Leader said:“Supporting a local charity like Age Concern helps to bridge the gap between the younger and older generations.
“The young people have enjoyed giving up their free time to collect books and hope that their contributions will go a long way in helping Age Concern.”
Carmarthen Youth Centre offers a wide range of activities and projects to young people between the ages of 11-25. To get involved, or for further information, please contact Roger Wilson on: 07968174906
