Minister launches support unit in Carmarthenshire
Welsh Assembly Finance Minister Andrew Davies has visited Carmarthen to officially launch a third sector procurement support unit.
The unit has been created to bring together relevant specialists from Carmarthenshire County Council, Carmarthenshire Association of Voluntary Services, Hywel Dda Health Board and various other partners to support the third sector (charity/voluntary sector) when tendering for public service delivery contracts.
The unit will either be able to help with any procurement or commissioning related enquiries itself or will be able to help locate the appropriate support.
The unit was launched at The Mount, the voluntary resource centre run by CAVS in Carmarthen.
