Lewis Partnership play key role in developing Aberglasney House

One of Carmarthenshire’s leading tourist attractions is being improved thanks to South Wales architects the Lewis Partnership Ltd.
Aberglasney House and Gardens in the picturesque Tywi Valley is a landmark heritage garden attraction pulling in tens of thousands of tourists each year.
“The Aberglasney Restoration Trust asked us to look at renovating and refurbishing what is one of the most historic houses in Carmarthenshire,” said the Lewis Partnership Ltd’s managing director Philip Lewis.
“Obviously, our plan had to be sensitive to the history of the site with preservation of the key historical elements of the house crucially important.
“The refurbishment, estimated to cost nearly £500,000, will take in the entrance hallway to the house, the audio-visual room and include toilets.
“John Weaver Construction, of Swansea, have been contracted to carry out the works.”
