Morganstone working on three contracts for Pembrokeshire Housing


Growing South Wales construction firm Morganstone is making speedy progress on three new contracts for Pembrokeshire Housing Association.
The combined value of the projects is more than £2million.
“This is a sizeable project for us in Pembrokeshire and demonstrates how we are starting to find work the length and the breadth of Wales,” said Morganstone Managing Director Ian Morgan.
“We have found Pembrokeshire Housing Association great to work with and the projects are really moving on at a pace. They are well on target and may even be completed ahead of schedule. The first of the sites is due to complete this autumn.”
The projects are at –
Stranraer Road, Pennar, Pembroke Dock, 16 properties, houses and flats (2 x 2 Person 1 Bed Flat; 4 x 3 Person 2 Bed Flat; 1 x 4 Person 3 Bed Semi-Detached House; 1 x 6 Person 4 Bed Detached House; 3 x 5 Person 3 Bed Semi-Detached House; 5 x 4 Person 2 Bed Semi-Detached House), with a total project value of £1,302,704.66.
Munro Court, Pembroke Dock, two properties, bungalows (2 x 3 Person 2 Bed Semi-Detached Bungalow), contract value £217,883.17.
St Mary’s Road, Pembroke Dock, four properties, bungalows (2 x 3 Person 2 Bed Semi-Detached Bungalow; 1 x 3 Person 2 Bed Detached Bungalow; 1 x 5 Person 3 Bed Detached Bungalow, including one for a disabled person/family), worth a total of £480,729.78.
Mr Morgan added: “Pembrokeshire Housing has a reputation for improving the stock of properties available in the county and we are delighted to be working with them on these projects.”
Pembrokeshire Housing is an independent, not for profit Industrial and Provident Society and is the local housing association, being based in and operating in Pembrokeshire.
Since it was established in 1981 it has achieved consistent growth and now provides more than 2,100 homes.
