Latest 'View from Richmond Park' column from the Journal

The latest 'View from Richmond Park' Carmarthen Town AFC column from the Carmarthen Journal -
Carmarthen Town AFC, through our EMC Services-sponsored Community Programme, is committed to giving local primary school children the opportunity to play on Richmond Park and watch their club for free again this season.
Primary schools have been invited to participate in the scheme, which started very successfully last season.
Matches will be played at half-time on a mini-pitch on Richmond Park, usually on a Friday night under floodlights.
Games will last for 10 minutes for teams of eight-a-side with three substitutes.
Paul Ashley-Jones, Head of the Community Programme at Carmarthen Town AFC, said: “We hope that the experience of playing on a Welsh Premier League ground in front of hundreds of spectators will be unforgettable for both the children and their parents.
“In addition to the children playing, unlimited additional free children’s tickets are available for supporters, together with two free adult tickets for those supervising the children.
“If you would like further details or would like your Primary School to participate then please contact either of the people below - Paul Ashley-Jones 07775 820864 or Phil Grice, Schools Liaison Officer, 01267 235073.

Supporters who buy the Carmarthen Town AFC match day programme will know that we also have a page dedicated to Merlin’s Magic Boxes.
This is designed for supporters to show their support by putting their name (or any message) in the programme for only £10 for the whole season.
We can fit a maximum of 60 boxes onto the page and last season, thanks to your generous support, we were able to fill the page ready for our first home game.
It would be great if we could do the same again in advance of our first home game against Newtown on August 13.
Please consider extending your already valuable support for next season by purchasing one or more of Merlin’s Magic Boxes. Contact Paul Ashley-Jones on 07775 820864.

Dates for your diary:
