Carmarthenshire refuse collection back to normal
Householders in Carmarthenshire are advised to leave their refuse/recycling out for collection as normal.
Crews expect to have caught up with all collections by the weekend, weather permitting.
No bulk collections are being booked in for this week, as staff are catching up with previous bookings.
All Civic Amenity sites are now open including Llangadog, which has reopened. Blue bags can be taken to skips at all our CA sites as a temporary measure.
Staff will be working double shifts all this week to collect blue and black bags wherever possible.
They will collect as much as possible but any surplus bags should be taken to the nearest CA site or placed out on the next scheduled collection.
The four black bag only rule is being suspended during this time.
For more information and for details of today’s collection rounds visit the county council website at www.carmarthenshire.gov.uk.
