Carmarthenshire day centre hopes

It's hoped that all day centres, day clubs and luncheon clubs in Carmarthenshire will reopen tomorrow, weather permitting.
Social care chiefs hope the severe weather being forecast for tonight and tomorrow will have cleared in time to resume normal services.
However, there may be localised bad weather conditions so further updates will be made available on the council website and through local radio stations.
The facilities were closed today due to a forecast of widespread snow and high winds leading to concerns that service users might not be able to return safely to their homes.
Director of Social Care, Health and Housing Bruce McLernon said: “We intend to open all services as usual tomorrow, weather permitting, but conditions may change in different parts of the county.
“We will inform people as soon as we can of any disruptions to services, we advise service users and their families to check information on our website or listen to local radio stations.”
Regular updates can be found on the council website at www.carmarthenshire.gov.uk
