Evan-Evans brewery launches Welsh Summertime!

The international award-winning brewer Evan-Evans has launched a new range of beers at the start of a new summer sales campaign.
Evan-Evans is widely recognised as being one of the leading brewers in Wales and the UK.
The brewery is launching 10 beers to celebrate the very best of Welsh summer.
Some of the beers are old favourites; others are new beers which have never been tasted before.
Brewer James Buckley said:
“Summer is an important time of year for us at Evan-Evans and this year we are launching a series of new beers to celebrate Welsh Summertime.
“These include delicious new ‘golden’ beers, using continental hops.
“Generally, our summer beers are designed to be drunk slightly cooler and are golden in colour, but this year we are producing some new light amber-coloured beers, which are more hoppy and have a distinct summer feel to them.”
Beer lovers can look forward to trying ales from the Evan-Evans family of beers, which includes the Artisan range and the Porter Street London brewery.
To whet the beer lover’s appetite, there’s –
  • Snapper from the Artisan beer range
  • Oval 6 from the Porter Street London brewery
  • And the international award-winning Organic Gold, which is still ‘the No1 Organic beer in the World’.
Michelle Francis, operations manager for the Evan-Evans Group, said: “Whatever the weather has in store, the outlook will be bright for our Evan-Evans beers during a great Welsh Summertime.”
Other summer ales in the range include – Evan-Evans Golden Hop, Archers Golden Solstice, Archers Liberty, Artisan High Summer, Porter Street Colonial Cousin, Porter Street London Hop and W.H. Buckley Grand Cru Summer Ale.

The Evan-Evans brands are built on a rich tradition of 245 years of family brewing.
As a family, the Buckleys have brewed beer in Wales since 1767. The tradition started with Henry Child, a leading Welsh entrepreneur of his time, farmer, Grain Merchant, Maltster and agent to Sir Alex Stepney. Henry Child’s daughter Maria married the Reverend James Buckley in 1798. Today, the tradition lives on with James, eighth generation of the family, brewing in Llandeilo, West Wales.
