Media Trust wants to celebrate incredible project work

Steve Lloyd, Community Outreach Manager Wales Cymru for the Media Trust and Community Channel, has sent me the following news -

Media Trust and Community Channel are working with Big Lottery Fund on a three-year campaign to celebrate the incredible work of projects across the country.
Our Do #SomethingBrilliant campaign sets out to celebrate all that is brilliant about the incredible, diverse and talented people who make England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland a better place for us all.
The campaign will be structured around four categories – Do Something Green, Together, Creative and Active.
Each of these categories will contain lots of Brilliant Things or ideas for people to do in their communities. To watch the TV ad click here.
Do #SomethingBrilliant is here to help you to promote your project further and to amplify your story about the brilliant work you do in your community. We would like to feature your project on the Do #SomethingBrilliant website, Twitter and Facebook pages, launching on 25 February 2014.
It would be great if you could tell us one brilliant thing that people can do to support or take part in your project. Perhaps you are looking for volunteers, or have an open day coming up? Do you have something that people can get stuck into, or would you like to raise awareness of your project?
It would be brilliant if you could provide us with the following by emailing dosomethingbrilliant@mediatrust.org
The brilliant thing that people can do to help you
An image that represents the action people can take to help (minimum 300dpi)
A link back to a relevant page on your website, if available
Describe your organisation and provide your postcode (to explain, we hope to use postcodes to create an interactive map of Brilliant Things. By providing your postcode you are consenting for your project to be mapped in this way)
Anything else you think might be useful!
In sending the photograph and quote you are consenting for them to be used across online platforms to be used for press and marketing purposes.
After you have provided us with the above, we will be in touch shortly with a written up brilliant thing for you to review and sign off. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or require any further information at dosomethingbrilliant@mediatrust.org
