New Chief Executive at Red Kite Law


West Wales legal experts Red Kite Law have announced the appointment of Neil Walker as Chief Executive.
Mr Walker succeeds Andrew Manning, who will remain as a consultant to Red Kite Law.
Mr Walker joined Red Kite Law as chief operating officer and finance director last summer.
He said: “I am delighted to be stepping into the role of Chief Executive.
“We are a forward looking legal firm operating primarily in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. But we also service clients throughout Wales and have recently opened an office in Cardiff.
“We have a strong local brand, a fantastic team of solicitors and long-lasting relationships with our clients, who like us because we are local, we are good lawyers and we do a great job for them.”
Mr Walker joined Red Kite Law from Cooperative Legal Services.
He is a graduate of Manchester University and a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Before joining Cooperative Legal Services, he worked in various parts of the Co-operative Group including holding the role of Finance Director for Co-operative Funeralcare. Prior to joining the Co-op Neil worked for EY (formerly Ernst & Young) in Manchester where he had exposure to a variety of companies, from small manufacturing and technology businesses, through to large businesses such as British Nuclear Fuels Limited.
He was Operations Director at Co-operative Legal Services when it was awarded the first Alternative Business Structure licence ever to be issued by the Solicitors Regulation Authority in April 2012.
Mr Walker said: “I am delighted to be working with a forward looking, innovative law firm in Red Kite Law. Many members of Red Kite Law are recognised in Wales as leaders in their specialist fields.
“We are a trusted brand and recognised locally as being in touch with our local community and our loyal customers.”
Mr Walker lives South Wales, with his wife and two girls. He enjoys the outdoors, including running, cycling and walking.
